Happiness

Good philosophy to life... Money never brought anyone true happiness though it can make life a little easier. We truly must learn to live and make do with the basic things. What good would it benefit you to have all the riches of the world but never make it into the gates of heaven. 

To be honest, money is a distraction and yes can truly distract you from establishing soul enriching lives and relationships with God and people. 

Give what you can, pray and try to help those less fortunate cause it is in true and genuine giving that true happiness is found. More Joy is derived from making others happy than oneself not that you should be miserable but when have you never smiled from seeing the joy in someone whom is a recipient of your good deed either in cash or in kind. 

The joy and satisfaction that comes from that is nothing compared to how our Father in heaven feels when he grants our needs aka needs not wants.

So today make someone happy either via a phone call, a smile, a kind words or why not two words, a nice deed or whatever you see fit. 

The reward is enormous and do me a favor.... don't tell anyone else what you did, just ask that person to pass on the kindness and savor and bask in the joy that you have given someone else for it is in giving that we receive. 

Merry Christmas to you all and Christ has given us the start to our redemption which is his birth so let's take this period as a rebirth of our soul, our lives, habits and renewal of our commitment to our Father in heaven and his teachings which is simply to "love our neighbor as thyself".

Simple yet so tasking and difficult to accomplish but I say take it one step at a time, one smile at a time and one good deed at time.
